Call for Help!
Your community needs your help. There are five important committees that need membership and support from community members:
- Bylaws Ad-hoc Committee (reviewing and rewriting our bylaws to make them comply with our latest Texas State laws)
- Public Safety Committee (identifying methods of making our neighborhoods safer)
- Landscape Committee (designing landscape solutions and ideas for the common areas within Westcreek)
- Pool Ad-hoc Committee (developing programs and establishing rules for the use of our community pools, a sub-committee under Sports and Park Committee).
These committees do not take up too much of your time and your input is critical to the success of our community. Please volunteer and be an active member of our community and help us continue to make Westcreek a great place to live and raise our families. Contact the staff at our Community Center if you are interested in serving on any of these committees. Thank you.
Communications Committee Community Project
Communications Committee Project: The Communications Committee is currently working on a video project for our web site. We want to highlight our community and the surrounding areas for those who may look at our web site and consider moving into the Villages of Westcreek. If you are someone who feels they have a yard worth showing off and would allow the photographers for the Communications Committee to come over to your home and take pictures of your property please contact Ken Lemanski at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Villages of Westcreek is now on Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, you can look us up and “like” our Facebook page to receive updates and information about your community.
The Villages of Westcreek Standards for Architectural Design and Maintenance state the grass should be no higher than five inches. This also includes weeds. It has been a couple of weeks since we had any significant
rain, but a lot of our lawns have made a comeback. Some homeowners think just because they have a lawn service they do not have to keep their yard maintained. The Standards Monitors do not know when your lawn service comes by and cuts your yard. Regardless if you have a lawn service that may come by once a week, once every two weeks or once a month, the resident is still responsible for maintaining their yard and keeping it within the standards.
Also according to the standards ground cover is required, bare dirt and weeds is not considered ground cover. If you are unable to grow grass because of the drought, too much shade or even too much sun, our
standards do allow for alternatives to grass for ground cover. We have several homeowners who have installed artificial turf, crushed granite, rock and even stone and mulch.
Keep Westcreek Beautiful. Do not litter. Please take a moment to dispose of any litter you may find.
Please remember the Bexar County leash law is in effect throughout our community. All pets must be on a leash and not roaming freely.
Public Safety Tip
This is one of those times of year when a lot of us get busy because of the end of another school year, the kids are out for the summer, there are graduation ceremonies and parties to attend and we say good bye
to our military friends because it is also PCS season. This is also the time of the year when we sometimes forget about the basic safety precautions we should be taking as we travel to our activities over the
The use of seat belts not only makes good sense, but it is the law in Texas for all passengers in a motor vehicle. Obey the speed limit; you will not get there at all if you have a crash because you were
driving too fast.
The use of bicycle safety helmets for the children and adults who ride bikes on the street. Please be careful and enjoy your summer.
Saturday June 16, at 10:00 a.m. the Strategic Planning Committee will be holding a training session in the conference room. All are welcome to attend.
