The assessments for 2014 are $312.00 for the year or $78.00 quarterly. If you pay quarterly, please remember the due dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2014. Finance charges are applied on past due assessments. IMPORTANT****Your cards must be current (2:4) as of April 1, 2014 to have access to the park, pools, and any VWOA events.
2014 Annual Meeting Election Results
The Villages of Westcreek would like to congratulate your 2014 elected Board of Directors.

The final Director’s seat will be determined by a run-off election as there was a tie between Alejandro Castillo and Ismael Padilla. A Special Meeting to conduct the run-off election for these candidates is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Center. All who are interested in voting in the run-off election must be present to vote. Please ensure to attend for the support of the candidates. All are welcome to attend.
The May monthly BOD meeting will immediately follow. All are welcome to attend.
The VWOA office will be closed this Friday, April 25, 2014 in observance of Battle of the Flower.

VWOA continues to host a Farmers Market from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Thursday year round. The market is located in the overflow parking lot adjacent to the Community Center. The vendors accept cash, credit cards, WIC, LoneStar, and Senior Vouchers.
The Community Center and Sports Park Pavilion are available to rent for your next event. The facilities can be booked up to 6 months in advance. The office is now accepting reservations through September 2014. The VWOA pools are also available to rent during the pool season- May 10-October 5, 2014. Pool rentals are from 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For more information, please visit our website www.villagesof westcreek.com or contact the office at 679-8761.

Before owners may proceed with any plan to make improvements/changes to the outside premises of the property, approval must be obtained from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Before non-owners may apply for improvements/changes, written permission from the property owner must be provided to the VWOA community center’s office for filing in the owner’s property folder. In either case, the Assessments, as established by the Board of Directors, must be current when requests are submitted. In addition to submitting a property improvement application (PIA), a property plat will also be necessary to be included with your proposal.

Please be sure to pick up after your animals while in the Sports Park. A pet waste station is located next to the park rules sign.

Public Safety Tip
Presented by the Public Safety Committee:
The Home Safety Council (http://www.safekids.org): To Prevent falls and injuries down the stairs to install stair rails. Always have good lighting. Keep the stairs in good repair and in sturdy shape. The stairs should be clutter free. Use safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs if young children live in or visit your home.

Standards Revision Committee- The committee will hold their meeting Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend.
