Sports Park Renovation Starts Tuesday, August 27, 2013

It is our pleasure to announce your Board of Directors has recently approved a major renovation project for our Sports Park.  The children’s playground equipment was scheduled for replacement according to the Reserve Study Plan for renovation and replacement actions.  Your Board of Directors has approved the funding to replace the existing equipment with new and updated equipment as well as bring our playground into Americans with Disabilities Act compliance.  The existing playground will be demolished and the new equipment installed over the next eight weeks, so please be patient. We apologize for the loss of the playground environment during the construction period but we feel the final product will be well worth the wait and inconvenience.

The Pools are Open

The VWOA pools are open but the pool schedule has changed. Please check our website www.villagesofwestcreek.com under the Recreation tab then double click on Aquatics for a complete schedule.

Please Note: The VWOA Pools cannot accept bills larger than $10.  We appreciate your cooperation and hope that you are enjoying our expanded concession menu!

Standards Tips

The weather is currently hot and dry.  Often yards will slow down in growth due to the lack of water.  However, yards cannot be neglected.  Please continue to edge, trim and remove weeds from driveways, sidewalks, and curbs.

Please be sure to pick up after your animals while in the Sports Park.  A pet waste station is located next to the park rules sign.

Public Safety Tip

Unfortunately, the bridge expansion on Military Dr., which the County started over a year ago, has not be completed in time for the start of school as originally anticipated.  Please be cautions when in this area due to the fact that children will be going to and from school.  Currently there is only one sidewalk, in addition to the construction equipment and materials that are in the area.  Along with these obstacles, there is potential for traffic diversions as well.

If you see graffiti or vandalism in the Villages of Westcreek, please report it to the office at 679-8761.

AT&T FIBER OPTICS INFRASTRUCTURE

Mintco, the subcontractor for AT&T will need access to certain backyards. Over the next several weeks, Mintco crews will be working in the Villages of Westcreek. The crews will need to access backyard easements so crew members will be leaving door hangers. Should you receive one, we ask that you please make arrangements or accommodations for the crew members to have access.

Once the work is complete, they will mend any damage caused to your lot during this process.

If you, the homeowner, have any questions you may call Oscar Hernandez with Mintco at 210-634-9055.
