 2014 Assessments

The assessments for 2014 are $312.00 for the year or $78.00 quarterly. If you pay quarterly, please remember the due dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2014. Finance charges are applied on past due assessments. IMPORTANT****Your cards must be current (1:4) to have access to the park, pools, and any VWOA events.


Volunteer Coaches Needed

VWOA Spring 2014 Soccer season begins soon. We are in need of volunteer coaches. Coaches receive discounts for their children’s registration. Call Nancy or Alex at 210-679-8761 for further information or stop by the office.  Volunteers are very important to the success of the VWOA Soccer program!

Public Safety Committee

Your community needs your help.  The Public Safety Committee needs membership and support from community members. The Committee works to identify methods of making our neighborhoods safer. The committee does not take up too much of your time and your input is critical to the success of our community.  Please volunteer and be an active member of our community and help us continue to make Westcreek a great place to live and raise our families.  Contact the staff at our Community Center if you are interested in serving on any committee. 


Farmer’s Market

VWOA will be hosting a Farmers Market from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Thursday year round. The market is located in the overflow parking lot adjacent to the Community Center. The vendors accept cash, credit cards, WIC, LoneStar, and Senior Vouchers.


Call for Nominations

The Board of Directors will have (3) three open seats in April 2014.  A key business item on the annual meeting agenda is the election of new Board members. If you are a Homeowner who would like to serve your community, or know of another Homeowner who would make a good director please submit the following by March 03, 2014.  Nominations received by this date will be published in the April 2014 newsletter and on the website.  Any nominations received after March 03, 2014 will be posted on the website, but will not make the deadline for the Newsletter.

Facility Rental

The Community Center and Sports Park Pavilion are available to rent for your next event. The facilities can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Standards Tips

Signs expressing support for an individual political candidate, party, local bond issue or referendum may be placed in a private front yard no earlier than forty five (45) days prior to a primary or general election and must be removed no later than seven (7) days after the election unless the candidate is involved in a runoff election.  Such political signs shall not be larger than twenty four (24) inches high and twenty four (24) inches wide and must be professionally made; no homemade signs are permitted.  The limit for political signs is three (3) per platted lot.  Corner lots with two (2) bordering streets may have six (6) [three (3) per street frontage].  No political signs are permitted in common areas and any signs posted there shall be removed immediately.  All signs shall be constructed of durable materials and securely attached to framework and supports made of wood, metal, or other similar material of equivalent strength.


Please be sure to pick up after your animals while in the Sports Park.  A pet waste station is located next to the park rules sign.

Public Safety Tip

Clear vision area:  No sign shall be placed within the clear vision area defined.  On any corner lot, no sign shall be maintained within a triangular area formed by the intersecting street lines and a straight line connecting such street lines, at points twenty five (25) feet from the point of intersection measured along such street lines. No Signs on individual lots shall be placed closer than three (3) feet from the edge of sidewalk.

Mintco, the subcontractor for AT&T will need access to certain backyards. Over the next several weeks, Mintco crews will be working in the Villages of Westcreek. The crews will need to access backyard easements so crew members will be leaving door hangers. Should you receive one, we ask that you please make arrangements or accommodations for the crew members to have access.

Once the work is complete, they will mend any damage caused to your lot during this process.
