2015 Assessments

The assessments for 2015 are $328.00 for the year or $82.00 quarterly. If you pay quarterly, please remember the due dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2015. Finance charges are applied on past due assessments. IMPORTANT: ***All residents 12 and older must have a current VWOA ID card in order to access the pool and park and attend VWOA events.


Bulk Trash Drop Off

Dumpsters are being provided by Bexar County Public Works along with Villages of Westcreek for our Bulk Trash Drop Off event.  You may bring your oversized trash and deposit it in one of the dumpsters provided.  Please be aware, all participants must be able to unload your own trash and place it inside these containers.  This event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18th at the Sports Park overflow parking lot from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.  First come, first serve while room is available.


***The following are items that will not be accepted at the Bulk Trash Drop Off-Paints, Herbicides, Chemicals, Oil, Batteries, Antifreeze, Gas Cylinders, Refrigerators, Freon, Tires, Gasoline, Flammable Liquids and other various items that contain Hazardous Materials.


Swim Lessons

Registration for swim classes started May 11, 2015. Register early to confirm your class.  Welcome back to sizzling summer and pool time fun! Please keep in mind that most classes are group classes. Your child will be assessed and placed into a class at their current level of ability. Please visit our website www.villagesofwestcreek.com for further details. Classes are filling up quickly.


Pools Open

The Sports Park and Community Center pools are now open throughout the week.  The hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. The Sports Park Pool is closed on Mondays for cleaning, and the Community Center Pool is closed on Tuesdays for cleaning.  Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10:00am to 8:00 pm.


Things to remember when going to the pool:

*All residents 12 years and older must have a current VWOA ID card to enter the pools.

*There is a $3.00 fee for all guests over the age of 2, even if they are not swimming.

*Residents are allowed 4 guests per valid VWOA ID, but no more than 8 guests per household.

*All tenants must have a current lease on file and the homeowner’s must be current to update the ID cards.

*All babies/toddlers must be in swim diapers- regular diapers are not permitted.

Last Weekend’s Westcreek Jubilee Celebration

VWOA hosted the Westcreek Jubilee Celebration last Saturday which was a success. We had more than 1,234 participants at this event.  All had a great time with the carnival rides, games, music, food and a great car show.  The car show winners were as follows, First Place Winner-1960 Chevy Impala by Owner Loui Mora, Second Place Winner-1966 Mustang by Owner Tyler, Third Place Winner-2015 Ford Mustang GT by Owner Brian Hoffman.  Congratulations to these winners. We thank these and the other car show contestants for bringing in their beautiful cars to show us.  We would also like to thank the volunteers and staff who placed a lot of their time and efforts into making this a memorable and fun event!  From the Board of Directors and the Management team, thank you for all of your hard work!






Payment Options

The VWOA office accepts homeowner’s checks, credit cards, cash and money orders. If you cannot get to the office during office hours or do not live in VWOA, you can now pay your assessments online at www.villagesofwestcreek.com.  Also, you may wish to set it up with your bank as a bill pay, the bank will mail a check directly to us. Please use your house number and street name as your VWOA account number. Homeowners can also mail your check personally to us. Please send payments to VWOA, 12395 Military Dr W., San Antonio, TX 78253. VWOA does not accept checks from non-homeowners. At this time we cannot accept payments over the phone. Please note that the P.O. Box is closed.

Bexar County Proposed Annexation

Approximately one third of your neighbors in the Villages of Westcreek and ultimately the entire neighborhood may be affected by the proposed annexation. Once the limited annexation time frame expires in 2016, the City may amend their proposal and consider the area for full annexation. Further information about annexation will be posted on the website in the weeks to come. The link to the online petition opposing the annexation is:



Farmer’s Market

VWOA continues to host a Farmer’s Market starting at 9:00 a.m. every Thursday. The market is located in the overflow parking lot adjacent to the Community Center. The vendors accept cash, credit cards, WIC, LoneStar, and Senior Vouchers.


Facility Rental

The Community Center and Sports Park Pavilion are available to rent for your next event. The facilities can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Standards Tips

Ground cover, such as natural grass, artificial/synthetic turf or xeriscaping is required throughout the entire property to prevent soil erosion and to enhance home values by maintaining attractive properties. If you choose to do anything other than grass, it is necessary to submit a Property Improvement Application (PIA) with a comprehensive description of all plantings and materials along with a copy of the Plat/Lot Survey showing the proposed location(s) to the Architecture Review Committee (ARC) for consideration prior to the initiation of any improvement.

Xeriscaping is useful in areas that have little rain and/or mandatory water restrictions. When plants are combined with ground cover such items as rock, gravel, flagstone, wood chips or mulch they can present a very attractive appearance. For the type of a. plants that thrive well in hot climates with little water; and b. appropriate ground cover, suggest that local garden nurseries and/or professional xeriscaping companies be contacted for advice. Recommend viewing website www.saws.org for seven simple steps to successful xeriscaping. If using rock and gravel for ground cover, suggest that their size be no larger than nickels and quarters for the ease of walking on.  Also, a good grade of weed blocking material is recommended to help prevent any vegetation from growing through the ground cover.  Any plants closer than ten (10′) feet from the curb are to be kept trimmed to three (3′) feet in height, as measured from ground level, to provide adequate visibility for motorists backing out of driveways and at intersections.

Please be sure to pick up after your animals on all common areas and while in the Sports Park.  A pet waste station is located next to the park rules sign.

Mintco, the subcontractor for AT&T will need access to certain backyards. Over the next several weeks, Mintco crews will be working in the Villages of Westcreek. The crews will need to access backyard easements so crew members will be leaving door hangers. Should you receive one, we ask that you please make arrangements or accommodations for the crew members to have access.

Once the work is complete, they will mend any damage caused to your lot during this process.
