VWOA Angel Tree
As the Holidays draw near, we give thanks for the blessings in our lives and share a desire to help our neighbors in need.
The Villages of Westcreek will be sponsoring an Angel Tree this year. The Angel Tree is set-up in the Community Center lobby. If the spirit of the season calls you to share, please come by and pick an Angel to sponsor. Through efforts of the Villages of Westcreek, residents in our community who otherwise might not have a joyful holiday can be assured a special season through the Angel Tree project. Some of our residents here in Westcreek are struggling this year and all Angels in need will be Westcreek residents, your neighbors. Angel Tree gives individuals an opportunity to adopt less fortunate residents and provide them with personalized gifts and necessities to those who would otherwise receive very little or nothing during the holiday season. Donors can be confident that their gifts go directly, and without any overhead, to those who are truly needy. If you or someone you know needs a little help from the Westcreek elves, please call 210-679-8761 or stop by the office to register for our Angel Tree. The Angel Tree recipients’ information will be confidential and the gifts will be either picked up or delivered. So come choose your Angel and let us ensure that all of Westcreek has a very Happy Holiday!
Deadline for submissions is December 6, 2012 at noon.

Public Safety Tip
The following was reported to us as suspicious activity: A person came to a house posing as a security company employee, with shirt & clipboard. The man told the homeowner that he needed to inspect the property. The homeowner did not let the man in as she had not scheduled an appointment. She called the security company; they informed her that he was not an employee. The homeowner filed a police report. The vehicle was a Black 90’s model Honda with dark tinted windows. The man was Caucasian with dark hair and appeared to be in his late 20’s approximately 5’10” tall. Kens 5 News has done a report in the past on homes being robbed by criminals posing as utility workers. Please be cautions and only allow people in your home or backyard that you have arranged to be there.
If you see graffiti or vandalism in the Villages of Westcreek, please report it to the office at 679-8761.
