 2013 Assessments

The assessments for 2013 are $312.00 for the year or $78.00 quarterly. If you pay quarterly, please remember the due dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2013. Finance charges are applied on past due assessments.

IMPORTANT****Your cards must be current to have access to the park, pools, and any VWOA events. Valid ID card stickers must be at least 3:3 to be current.


Sports Park Renovation is Underway

The Renovation to the Sports Park playground has begun. During the renovation period, the playground is closed. We will announce the Grand Re-Opening of the park once the project is completed.


Calling All Westcreek Talent

VWOA is looking for residents who want to share their talent. Pre-register (no fee) now to compete in our National Night Out Talent Show at the Sports Park- Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. We are seeking singers, dancers, bands, and performers of all types. If you are interested in performing, please come into the office to pre-register.

** All talent acts must be suitable for all ages and limited to 3 minutes each. No profanity may be used in any act, including music.


Facility Rental

The Community Center and Sports Park Pavilion are available to rent for your next event. The facilities can be booked up to 6 months in advance. The Pools are Open

The VWOA pools are open but the pool schedule has changed. Please check our website www.villagesofwestcreek.com under the Recreation tab then double click on Aquatics for a complete schedule.


Please Note: The VWOA Pools cannot accept bills larger than $10.  We appreciate your cooperation and hope that you are enjoying our expanded concession menu!

Farmer’s Market Every Thursday

VWOA will be hosting a Farmers Market from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Thursday year round. The market is located in the overflow parking lot adjacent to the Community Center. The vendors accept credit cards, WIC, LoneStar, and Senior Vouchers.

Standards Tips

Bandit Signs:  Advertisements throughout the community such as lawn care, remodeling, childcare, lost/found pets, etc…are considered bandit signs and are not permitted. Commercial services conducted on residential properties such as roofing, remodeling, landscaping, etc… are also considered as ‘bandit signs’ and are limited to one (1) sign per residence. Signs are only permitted while work is being performed and removed immediately after the work is completed.


Please be sure to pick up after your animals while in the Sports Park.  A pet waste station is located next to the park rules sign.

Public Safety Tip

With all of the construction going on in and around our community, we receive numerous calls regarding wildlife.  If you have any encounters you need advice or assistance with please contact Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc.    They rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife.  They can be reached at (830) 336-2725.

Upcoming Meetings

Finance Committee Meeting-   The first meeting of the Finance Committee for the 2014 VWOA Budget will be held in the Conference Room on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.  All are welcome to attend.

Board of Directors Meeting–  The Board of Directors will hold their next meeting Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center. All are welcome to attend.

BOD Executive Session–  The Executive Session of the Board of Directors will be immediately following the 19 September Board of Directors Meeting.  The purpose of the Executive Session is to discuss personnel, pending or threatened litigation, contract negotiations, enforcement actions, confidential communications with the property owners’ association’s attorney, matters involving the invasion of privacy of individual owners, or matters that are to remain confidential by request of the affected parties and agreement of the board. This is a closed session.

Mintco, the subcontractor for AT&T will need access to certain backyards. Over the next several weeks, Mintco crews will be working in the Villages of Westcreek. The crews will need to access backyard easements so crew members will be leaving door hangers. Should you receive one, we ask that you please make arrangements or accommodations for the crew members to have access.

Once the work is complete, they will mend any damage caused to your lot during this process.
