GROOVAROO DANCE CLASS IS COMING TO WESTCREEK

NOTE:  DUE TO LOW PARTICIPATION RATES, THE CONTRACTOR HAS CANCELLED THIS CLASSS EFFECTIVE JULY 2, 2018. 

Come join Cari at the Villages of Westcreek Community Center for a fun work out that also lets you bond with your little one. Groovaroo is based off of soul line dancing and baby wearing. It is a great opportunity to get some exercise and make new friends. The cost is $8 per class.

This class is designed for babies and caregivers 6 weeks of age/postpartum and up. Pregnant women are welcome to join too! We do recommend a two shoulder strap carrier with baby facing in to caregiver.  A buckle soft structure carrier, wrap or meh dai carrier are recommend. A ring sling or pouch carrier is not recommend.

Classes meets every Monday, starting on June 4th thru November 5th at 10:00 AM in the Community Center!

COVID 19 Precautions when visiting the VWOA OFFICE

Please note the following when visiting the VWOA Office:

Limit 4 people maximum in the lobby.

If you need to meet with specific staff members, you will need to schedule an appointment by calling 210-679-8761.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from other people.

Social distancing also called “physical distancing,” means keeping space between yourself and other people.

To practice social or physical distancing:

  • Tape Markings will be set up outside of the VWOA office for Social Distancing.
  • Do not gather in groups.

FACE MASKS REQUIRED

Please cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face covering when entering the VWOA building.

Cloth face coverings should NOT be placed on children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Keep at least 6 feet between yourself and others, even when you wear a face covering.
