Prepare yourself and your teens so they know what to do if faced with an active shooter. Learn how to plan and respond to violent events so they can be survivors!

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Department, in partnership with West San Antonio Chamber and City Church, will host a FREE workshop designed specifically for teens on preparing for an active shooter or other violent events.

The workshop will be presented by Deputy Chief Aristides “Harry” Jimenez of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department and is a suggested prerequisite to the Sheriff’s Gold Badge Program scheduled for the evening of August 13th, 2018 at 6:30 PM.

The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness amongst teenagers and young adults on what to expect and how to respond and assist law enforcement during a violent event.

Recommended for ages 13 and up, adults are also welcome to attend.
