COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Responsibility of Committee:  The primary responsibility of the Communications Committee is to advise and assist the Board in developing and carrying out a program of positive information flow between and among the organizational components of the Association, particularly as between the Association leadership and the general membership and among the general membership itself.

Meeting Schedule: The Communication Committee meets the 1st Monday of the month at 10:00 am in the Community Center Conference Room.  If the 1st Monday is a holiday, the Communication Committee Meeting will be moved to the following day of that week.  These meetings are open to all Homeowners. Meeting notices are posted on the website calendar, the bulletin board in the lobby of the Community Center and via email to residents who subscribe on the website to receive interesting VWOA news and updates delivered to their inbox.

Standing Agenda Item:  Evaluate current communication practices, identify written opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

How to Join the Committee: Any member of the Association, who wishes to serve as a committee member may join this Committee by attending two out of three successive meetings and maintaining regular attendance thereafter.

COVID 19 Precautions when visiting the VWOA OFFICE

Please note the following when visiting the VWOA Office:

Limit 4 people maximum in the lobby.

If you need to meet with specific staff members, you will need to schedule an appointment by calling 210-679-8761.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from other people.

Social distancing also called “physical distancing,” means keeping space between yourself and other people.

To practice social or physical distancing:

  • Tape Markings will be set up outside of the VWOA office for Social Distancing.
  • Do not gather in groups.

FACE MASKS REQUIRED

Please cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face covering when entering the VWOA building.

Cloth face coverings should NOT be placed on children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Keep at least 6 feet between yourself and others, even when you wear a face covering.
