ESTATE SALES

Estate sales may be held from 7 AM to 7 PM on the driveway, lawn, inside the garage or house for five (5) consecutive days.  Prior to the first day of the sale, the resident/Estate must notify the Standards Manager at 210-679-8761 of the dates.  As the sale progresses and additional days are needed, the Standards Manager must be called to approve the extension.

Sale items are not permitted on the sidewalk or driveway apron to prevent interference with the pedestrian’s use of the sidewalk which is an extension of the sidewalk.

Up to five (5) commercially produced signs are allowed and must be provided by the resident/Estate.  The signs may not exceed five (5) square feet and may not be placed/affixed on objects such as boxes, trees, street signs, mailbox clusters, fences, utility poles, or on the common properties of the VWOA.  Homemade signs are prohibited anywhere within the Villages of Westcreek.

Signs may not be displayed earlier than 12 noon on the day before the planned sale date and must be removed by 9 PM on the last day of the sale.

To invite the general public to the sale, consider placing two (2) signs

1. at the major intersections closest to the sale’s site; and
2. the other three (3) at appropriate locations to guide the public to the sale’s site.
